Santa
Paws
On Saturday,
November 1, 2003, the ASCE Hawaii Section Younger Member Forum (YMF) volunteered
at the Hawaiian Humane Society. The day was spent assisting the Humane
Society staff with duties involved in their annual fundraiser program called
Santa Paws. YMF volunteers directed busy traffic in parking lots, worked
as cashiers, assisted photographers
taking holiday pictures
of families with their pets, prepared 2004 calendars with flyers and announcements,
and, of course, visited with the many cats and dogs available for adoption.
