On December
4, 2005 approximately 16 volunteers from the ASCE Hawaii Section YMF woke
up early in the morning to help with the 2005 Special Olympics Holiday
Classic Bowling Event. The Event was held at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii
K-Bay lanes. Volunteers assisted as bowling officials, helped with passing
out awards to participants and cooked lunch for the workers that came out.
The Special Olympics Holiday Classic is one of three events sponsored by
Special Olympics Hawaii for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The ASCE Hawaii Section YMF were a part of the 1,000 volunteers that helped
in the event.
