Generation Professionalism in Projects and Contracts

On Thursday,
April 6, 15 attendees had the opportunity to receive wisdom and practical
knowledge from Mr. Bernard Kea, Sr., P.E., and Chairman Emeritus of Community
Planning and Engineering, Inc. (CPE) during a lunch presentation sponsored
by the ASCE Hawaii Section YMF and CPE. With more than 40 years of
civil engineering design experience especially in the area of land development,
Mr. Kea discussed engineers' obligation to the public, responsibility to
the client, quality of work, moral responsibility, and ethics. Participants
included students from the University of Hawaii and workers from the private
and public sector.
A big
mahalo to Mr. Bernard Kea, Sr. for volunteering his time, Ms. JoAnne Wong
of CPE for helping to organize this event, and thanks to everyone for attending. |
