High School Robotics website.
Making
Math and Science FUN!
In
an effort to inspire people of all ages to learn about Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math (STEM), Moanalua High School's Robotics Club is hosting
its very first FUNvention! A FUNvention is similar to that of conventions
except on a smaller scale and geared specifically towards sparking interest
in STEM-related fields through fun and exciting activities (hence the name,
FUNvention). Workshops will entail presentations enthusing attendees in
the different STEM areas through various activities. Attendees can also
personally meet with gallery presenters -professionals, organizations,
and companies- in order to gain a better understanding of STEM-focused
professions. In simpler terms, a FUNvention allows its attendees to learn
and have fun at the same time!
Please
join the ASCE YMF at the Gallery of Interactive Displays at Moanalua High
School where we will be promoting the Civil Engineering field to all of
the FUNvention participants. Registration is free, so come on out!
