SEY Engineers is a Kaimuki-based, small business specializing in civil engineering and water resources engineering. We have been providing high quality consulting engineering services in the Pacific Region since 1962 representing over 53 years of experience. SEY Engineers offers a small company environment where each employee adds value to our team. We are very familiar with Federal, State and Counties of Hawaii localities, protocols and requirements for contracting and performing engineering services having been awarded contracts with these agencies in recent years including IDQ Contracts with NAVFAC Hawaii and the Army Corps of Engineers. We develop well-rounded engineers skilled in all facets of technical engineering and project management.
SEY Engineers is seeking a civil engineer with a minimum of 2 years of consulting engineering experience who is self-motivated, a critical thinker and a good communicator. The primary duties of the position are to perform consulting engineering design and prepare planning studies. Project management responsibilities include communication/involvement with clients, and coordination and integration with SEY staff and sub-consultant team. Our small company environment promotes the development of complete and versatile engineers with skills in all aspects of the consulting engineering profession, emphasizing design and planning, but also enhancing growth in project management, client involvement, permitting and modeling.
The qualified candidate will have:
B.S. in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 2 years work experience in consulting engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience in planning, design analysis and technical reports
