DONOR & FUNDING: American Society of Civil Engineers Hawaii Section
Walter Lum Scholarship Endowment Fund
PURPOSE: This Scholarship is to assist undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Hawaii.
NUMBER & AMOUNT OF AWARDS: Up to two awards in the amount of up to $3,000 each. The ASCE Hawaii Scholarship Committee may choose to increase the number of awards granted if they deem there are more than two worthy applicants AND funds are available.
NOTIFICATION: The ASCE Hawaii Section Scholarship Committee will notify recipients of their selection by June 15th and will present the award at the June 21st Hawaii Section dinner meeting. Award recipient(s) are required to attend the June dinner meeting. If unable to attend, an acceptance video must be submitted to the Committee at least five (5) days prior to the meeting.

PROOF OF ENROLLMENT: Recipients must provide proof of enrollment (receipt for 2018 Spring semester) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
RENEWAL: The scholarships are awarded annually. All applicants must submit a completed scholarship application.
HOW TO APPLY & DEADLINE: Applications may be downloaded here. One hard copy completed applications must be RECEIVED at the address listed below by May 25, 2018 along with proof of enrollment (receipt for current semester).
