CIVIL ENGINEER V

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Engineering Group Manager (EGM), the Civil Engineer V position is responsible for the plan, design and direction of civil engineering projects. Incumbent in the Engineer V position has obtained his/her license as a Professional Engineer (PE). Desired Competencies include: supervisory skills, strategic project management skills, ability to market services and bring in clients and has previously demonstrated the ability to plan, communicate and execute solid performance alone or in leading a team of Engineers. Ideal candidate should be a motivated, hands-on Engineer who can work both independently and collaboratively to meet time

sensitive deadlines. The successful candidate adheres to company policy, works well with others and is a motivated, self-starter who can work on multiple tasks and priorities within a fast paced entrepreneurial environment. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Education: Bachelor and Master degrees in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. 
  2. License: Professional Engineers license. 
  3. Experience: Five to seven years of progressive highway/roadwork experience, provide technical guidance and manage multiple projects. 
  4. Technical: Proficient use of CAD software.
