CIVIL ENGINEER III

City and County of Honolulu

POSITION SUMMARY:
Does moderately difficult professional engineering work in the design, construction, maintenance and operation of civil engineering projects; prepares designs, plans, specifications, estimates and reports; and performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty and two years of non-registered professional CIVIL engineering experience.

Substitution: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering will substitute for one year of the required professional civil engineering experience.

LICENSE REQUIREMENT:

1. Valid Hawaii State driver's license (Type 3) prior to appointment.
